David Ben-Ariel

David Ben-Ariel continues to initiate very provocative threads which are totally un-Spiritual and anti-Gnostic.

I do not like the idea of banning anyone from this forum, as I believe that everyone should be free to follow their own path, and hopefully learn from others. I was also the one who invited him to visit us from CARM.

Unfortunately, David seems to be using this forum purely for his own propagation purposes, without even considering anyone else at all. He obviously is completely blind to genuine Spirituality, and has no wish to converse with us on the subject.

Thus, as in any democratic group, I am asking for YOUR opinions as to what I should do.

I am SO GLAD you put this to a vote.

He is neither gnostic, nor ANY sprituality even vauguely connected to it, nor is he a seeker of truth, only a screamer of ego, but he sure thinks he has finally found someplace where he can post his non-ending dribble and be tolerated as it is the nature of us to be just that... I suggested once before he find the groups where he has kindred spirits on (like CARM? heh heh) to post his bile. We sure don't wanna hear it, at least I know I don't, and neither has some others that have expressed this to me off-fourm. But I also understand it is Bob's way to really practice what he preaches, and to love the unlovable is the REAL challenge, no?

I think he only hangs out here cuz he IS tolerated, and that is only due to Bob's gentleness and kindness of nature that I have yet to attain. I am personally tired of Ben Ariel using this site, which is really for the enlightenment of the spiritual seekers out there, as his own personal blog spot. He cannot hear the truth, he hasn't the ears to hear and even if he gets knocked off his horse on the road to Damascus he isn't gonna get it, and he keeps cluttering up the forum with garbage no one is interested in, and no one agrees with (tho most do not have my, um, 'energy' and are much kinder and more tolerant of his crap than me) him it is our way to be tolerant and unconditionally loving, but it may have come to a point where we need to show a little tough love. Otherwise, he is gonna turn alot of would-be learners when they read his mess, and wonder what kind of site would let him keep posting such hate and egoisms.

Now to get off my soapbox 'fore I slip off -- Ooops!!

well, i hate to exclude anyone,but,................. Darkchylde is 100% correct in her above opinion.
if perhaps he could of actually participated in any real conversation ,or posted something that was actually relevant to
anything discussed here i would feel differently . i even reached out to him about that very thing,and he continued on his road to nowhere, bob you and Andy have been more then fair,very diplomatic, and righteous in your dealings with David,and i do believe it is time to shake the dust from your feet.

Well, Jesus Christ said, "Resist not evil". ALso, there is much to be learned from David Ben-Ariel. It is hard to find the Light in what he speaks but it's there(perhaps not his intention, though). Don't forget, even the demiurge in his ignorance, leads us towards the Light.

And, I bet he has learned alot, having to read the responses to his posts, whether he wants to admit it or not. I wouldn't say to kick him out, but perhaps not letting him post racist, political junk would be fair.

Eternal do you think he is participating with the forum? That other guy Cha, at least he was actually responding to others post, this David guy just spams.

I'm with eternal. Let him stay but ban/delete the spam.

It seems that David posts copies of his daily blog on several forums -- perhaps to boost his google ranking or something. I predict that he will either go away on his own -- or who knows -- an outside chance he will engage in a reasonable manner ...

me to your forum even though you knew 2) I am not a Gnostic and never
will be. Now I am being judged by many by their own Gnostic standards,
which varies from person to person, rather than by the Book, the Word
of God, the holy Bible that I base all my beliefs upon without apology.

Thank you, Bob, for the opportunity to share
the plain truth of the Bible, as I've done, with those who are still
wandering in their darkness, fooling themselves that they're
enlightened. Mission accomplished.

Yes, it seems that he no longer has any use for a site that totally rejects his bigoted beliefs.

Let's hope that he might have learned something good while he was here.

Don't know from what I have read of the things hes posted here he seems a little way out in left field, I mean way out...........
