In the upcoming days, billboards all over Jerusalem will be plastered with a new poster on the eve of U.S. President Bush's visit to Israel. Pictured in the poster is a gigantic Bible, towering over the walls of the Old City. The caption says: "Bush, read your Bible. God gave Israel to the Jews."

President Bush, and every other Israelite leader, is commanded to read the Bible daily and they would do well to love and obey the Word of God. However, isn't Judah in charge of their own affairs? Politics and materialism (i.e. the ways of a Spiritually ignorant world) is not of interest to me personally. All that is truly important is for each of us, individually, to come to the REALIZATION and EXPERIENCE of God's GNOSIS - the vision of the Shekhinah - the experience of the LIGHT of God. Then, when this is accomplished, and we can actually SEE what is Truth ~ then, and only then, will there be any possibility of PEACE & LOVE & BROTHERHOOD. Political and/or so-called 'religious' solutions are no solutions, and never will be.

I try not to get too political nowadays (difficult in these polarized times) while I am not happy with Bush, he is in deeper with the Saudi royals than Israel, at any rate.

I'd also appreciate it if we can keep politics out of this forum. There are so many other forums for that. Presicely what I like the best about this forum is that it's un-political. As soon as Israel/"The Jews"/Zionism/9-11/The politics of the U.S. Government and so on are introduced, there will be alot of rambling and fighting that won't do any good, I think. As our political views may be very different. Or too different - for us to get along.

Do they think that God is in any way moved or affected by politics and the ways of this material world? I would say not.

I have the following problems with what you are saying:

The state of Israel (a fascist, racist, money-grubbing evil dictatorship) has no right to exist.
I wish Israel would be abolished tomorrow, their enormous arsenal of weapons of mass destruction and torture-instruments confiscated and destroyed, the apartheid-wall against the "inferiors" knocked down" and the entire Israeli government taken to prison to serve forever for crimes against humanity. The racist Jewish Talmud-following priesthood can join them. And all of Israel's agents within the U.S. Government and intelligence-community too, of course.

Then of course total stop of monetary "gifts" to Israel and every Holocaust-museum turned into cinemas where documentaries are shown to the people that prove that the Holocaust was a horrendous and cynical Zionist lie. All "Holocaust-deniers" immediately released from prison and all "hate speech" laws abolished.

Then we can ban Judeaism itself. A religion that preaches that only "the chosen people" (the Jews) are human beings while the rest are nothing but cattle (goyim) is an abomination and should be treated as such. Of course all religious torture (kosher slaughter) of animals must also be banned forever. As well as the sick ritual of circumcision of babies where the rabbi sucks the blood from the boy's willy.

May I ask you what you understand by the REAL world? Do you mean the physical world which is constantly changing and full of illusion, or do you mean God's Spiritual world, which is unchanging, constant, and Eternal?

I lived in South Africa for 14 years (1969-1982), where there was probably the largest population of Jews outside of Israel & USA. I don't think it was merely coincidental that South Africa is (or was) the number one producer of gold and diamonds.

I had many Jewish friends there, in fact I knew more Jewish people there than any other grouping, and for a time I shared a house with Jewish friends. Most of the Jews I knew were young and not really religious, and I found them very kind and sincere friends. In fact, the majority of people who followed my Spiritual Master in South Africa were Jews. However, I can tell you of one experience that I had there which shows the type of thing which you explain above.

I had a Jewish girl friend whose parents were strictly orthodox. When she invited me to their home I was at first welcomed in and made to feel very comfortable. I learned later that they were under the impression that I was also Jewish - as they assumed that their daughter would never get involved with any goyim, and certainly not bring any into their house! However, when they learned that I was not Jewish, they would not even speak to me any more, and even threatened to disown their daughter if she did not break our friendship. We carried on meeting in secret for a couple of years, but eventually the stress of the situation became too much, so we parted company.

Now, as I said, this was just a isolated example of how some 'religious' Jews may feel and act. Most of them, I am sure, are normal and kind people. There are probably fundamentalist Christians, Muslims, Mormons, etc., too, who would act in a similar way.

The Jews have been persecuted throughout history by a multitude of people. I don't know why. It is a mystery to me.

The Jews that I wrote about in my previous post are those that are called "Zionist Jews" or "Jewish supremacists". And they are not very nice people.

Branding "everybody" who belong to this or that religious or ethnic group is of course very wrong.

And the record of the Bible disagrees with you through the very living examples of Moses, Joseph, Daniel and others.

The spiritual world includes the political world - it's not some stoned experience or let's ignore reality religion - as Israel was called to become God's model nation on Earth, complete with the offices of "Church" and "State."
