Anarchy

Post by theeternaliam on Sun Feb 17, 2008 12:16 am

Can one be a gnostic, advocating freedom from worldly powers, and NOT be a political anarchist? I was reading some people's posts on political candidates and such and thought, shouldn't we leave the ways of the world to worldly powers.
I know it seems "apathetic" and probably immature, but I don't think we should aim for anything other than total freedom, and that means No Government, but LOVE.

Yes, GENUINE THEOCRACY should be the way! sunny I don't mean allowing religious leaders to rule (as in Iran), but God Himself ~ but then that would be impossible unless EVERYONE truly turned to God (not religion).

Anarchia per tutti!

I definitely agree. Anarchy is post-politics and
is the ultimate fruition of human interactions. I been with it since
highschool. It’s the order of peace to me, there for the peaceful.

But it would depend on what definition one would give to ANARCHY. Usually it means:- from Greek anarkhia; anarkhos "without a ruler". Mad

If each of us were to reject ALL rule (including the Divine Law of God / Spirit) and chooses instead complete selfishness / personal desire satisfaction, then we have the world much as it is today! Twisted Evil

There is always a ruler. If ya reject the rule of God, yer accepting the rule of the world. If ya reject the rule of the world, yer accepting God's Rule.
Ye cannot serve two masters, either you will hate the one and love the other...i forget Embarassed ...but you know what i mean Laughing

May Peace Be With You Smile
The follower of knowledge learns as much as he can every day;The follower of the Way forgets as much as he can every day.By attrition he reaches a state of inaction
Wherein he does nothing, but nothing remains undone.
To conquer the world, accomplish nothing;
If you must accomplish something,
The world remains beyond conquest.

I don't vote and never have, never even thought of voting for quite sometime, I have been in a constant meditation -- or at least have strived to, but it can be exceedingly difficult. However this does not mean that there is no value out of what is occurring and things can't be perceived or discerned out of the movement of this world.

I named myself a Passerby :p , for a reason. I don't even watch tv. To be honest while I do not and would not vote, I understand why others vote. It is important to understand and perceive the standards of others and their perspective, even if they are backwards, because through proxy of observing their movements you can come to perceive the machine of this world better. There is a lot going on in this world, a Gnostic must live apart from the world in regards its mindsets/mentality and lifestyle and never make the world their source to draw from, but be a poor one, a child in regards the world. However a Gnostic must also know, through observing the Machine and mechanical man one comes to perceive the reality of the laws that govern this world and through such growing understanding one gains a increasing capacity to even be able to do anything and not become ensnared.

Also the outer-world can teach one of their-inner world, which the outer is reflection of. There is much to be observed and learned. Know what is in your face and what is hidden from you, will be revealed.
