Seeking the Truth

Post by Vivamis123 on Wed May 28, 2008 7:21 pm

The main factor that put me onto the path of seeking the truth was an experience I had around the age of twenty-seven. One evening around 9 p.m., I was bored. The children were asleep, and there was nothing on TV that interested me. So I decided to go to bed early, even though I was not tired. As soon as I lay down, I felt a sudden sleepiness come over me. I could not explain why, but my eyes felt very heavy, as if they were being forced to close. I was fully conscious of what was going on.

I lived in an apartment near the airport and it was common to hear airplanes fly over the building. To visitors the sound is loud, but with time you get used to it and the sounds kind of disappear into the nothingness. This evening I heard an airplane approaching the building and, as I was listening to the sounds of the motor, the sounds came closer and closer, and closer and closer. I thought at one time, "Oh, my God, the plane is going to hit the building!" Then I saw a bright light shining in my room. It was right in front of me, as I could see it through my closed eyes. The light came straight at me and hit my forehead. My twin-size bed was standing against one of the walls. The light hit my head with such a force that I bumped the back of my head against the wall. It wasn't as painful as it might sound, but it did shake me up. I sat straight up in my bed and could not go back to sleep for the rest of the night. I knew something had happened, something that would change my life forever. A short time after this occurrence, I was able to witness two miracles that seemed to me to be a result of the light that had hit my head.

One of these "miracles" happened as I was walking up the stairs from the underground train in Germany. On the second floor, a crowd of people was standing around someone lying on the floor. I could see through the crowd that it was a man. His eyes were rolled backwards and his mouth was wide open. I thought, "Oh, my God!" I did not stop but continued to pass the man, as a stream of white light came out of my stomach area and went straight to the man. I felt a tug and heard a male voice in my left ear say, "Come." I continued my walk around the corner and up the stairs and I heard someone in the crowd say, "We have him back." I was shaking all over and crying as waves of energy ran up and down my body with high speed.

The second time I experienced "the light within me" I was standing at a road crossing. In front of me was a young couple with their two children-one around the age eight and the smaller one around the age of five. The couple was engaged in a conversation as all four were crossing the street. The older child was walking next to the parents, and the small child was strolling a few steps behind them, like children often do. I remember thinking, "Oh, my God!" for the car was about to hit the younger child. Everything happened so fast. In a split second, white light came out of my stomach area and pushed the little boy over the street into his parents' arms.

They had turned around as soon as they heard the car approaching. Again energy waves flooded my entire body. Even though I was very shook up over this occurrence, this time I was left with a feeling of total peace and comfort. The feeling was indescribable, like someone taking me in their arms and hugging me.
I had no intent to help in either of these incidents. It did not even cross my mind. I was merely a witness and can take no credit for what happened. But I was left with a lot of questions. What happened, who's controlling these happenings, and why is this happening to me?

Wow, wonderful experiences you have had here! I would have to say that you are a vassel of "LIGHT" that comes from the 'sub concious' and does the will of good without thought! Or maybe triggered by your hightened sences and acts from the subconcious. Either way you have done this from within and with out seeking such power. You have my addmiration and curiousity! I would say that you should not suppress (even if you could) and just go with the will of God for it acts strongly within you! Learn from the wisdom that comes from such things and teach/lead by example!
Peace and Harmony through Unconditional LOVE.. for that is where your strength is comming from and your 'powers' so to speak!
Love you sister!
May the greater power of unity, grace, unconditional love and synchronicity with God be with you today and always.

Dear sopherim7, I noticed the same thing that you did...when I read your post. It does validate something I read in a book of numberology. I can't quote it exactly but it had something to do with a 9 year circle. I read that everyone goes through differnet 9 year periods and have their first experience with "God" in the third circle...which is around the age of 27.

I was curious about this and started to ask around if people remembered anything special happening to them around that age. Most did confirm an experience of some kind of extra ordinary.

When I first met my Teacher I was 27 (turning 28 - in Sept 1973).

Yehoshua was also around 30 when he was initiated by his Teacher (John - the Baptist) and went into the wilderness to meditate (break his bond with his satan = his ego / 'mind').

I don't know how old Buddha was when he sat under the tree to meditate, but I believe Mohammed was around 40 when he started meditating in the cave.

I don't think it is of any importance at what age this occures...as long as it occures to everyone. I wish to think that everyone has the opportunity to experience something that imprints Truth, so deep in their soul that they never forget it...as we all here on this forum have experienced it : )

Dear Sopherim, I did not know if you were addressing your question to me or to everyone : ) But, no... I have not experienced something like that before.

My visions have been more of spiritual value....not concerning future events of this world....as yet : )

Sopherim, Your the first I have herd of something connected with smell-a-vision I have called it for years from an episode with my brother -in-law and wife.
I was Home watching our two boys and Betty was going out with her Sisters dancing that night. Her car wasn`t running to well, so she borowed my van. Being a mechanic by trade it had a bunch of things in it too. about an hour after her leaving her brother jimmy calls me up, and said Tom there is a dangerous situation about to happen. now I havn`t talked to jim in over 2 months, so he had no idea of things I have done or his sister. He said I smell Propane or something like it, and Your name comes to mind with me. I told him I don`t have anything like that here. He said where is betty(his sister)? I said out with your sisters dancing , then he ask wheres your van, I said shes got it... then I just remembered I forgot to turn in an empty acytalene tank that was in the back of the van. we called the place where she was at, then she went out to check the van and it was filled with Vapors from the tank leeking. we both smoke and she would have lite up before getting in.
But you are the first one that has had a smelling type connection like that Sopherim... also Jim actually sold me the tank 6 months prior to all this too, and he is not religious at all, except to be close family ties.

Truly interesting huh? wow

my spiritual turning point also occured when i was 27 - last year. i'm interested in numerology but not adept. i have noticed in my life that 5, 9, 3, and 27 appear again and again. i know that 27 means 9, but like 12, which means 3, there seem to be differences between the double digits and their single digit counterparts.

Thank you so much for sharing your story! Do you have an explanation for your light experiences? As an energy worker, this phenomenon really piques my curiosity. Are you good at visualizing energy? Your experiences remind me of times in my life where i knew or said something in emergency situations which were life saving. I look forward to reading more of your posts I love you

Hey Heather,
I searched for 18 years for answers...then I gave up searching...and found : ) I found that it was my beliefs that created my experience and I found a passage in the N.T. that comes very close to describing what I experienced:

John 7:38 K.V.: He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

I believe that God is all there IS.
I believe that God is Spirit and perfect
I believe we are made in God's likeness and imagine: Spirit and perfect.
I believe everyone that realizes his own divinity (being spirit and perfect) will be known...and know.
I believe Jesus was realized and taught this Truth

I believe there is only one Truth....but many definitions of that Truth.

seeking the Truth

Post by Prism1111 on Sat May 31, 2008 1:23 pm

Seeking the truth, and what a joyous and powerful phrase that is. it embodies the inner most inner, to the outer most outer in us all. Everyone falls into a point or multiple of the points along the Fathers spectrum of that. Truly the patient and wise see need for raising thyself up in enlightment in all those catergories somewhat or near to equality, to not form an unbalanced situation in our journey to fulness of the Father within us, with the finding at the glory and maintaining in the "I AM ".
To Love each step within us of that journey and becoming happy, will keep the ego of anticipated completion at bay, speeking of the inner most inner within us and others we sojurn with in the now.
In the Text of seeking to fix your own eye prior to fixing thy brothers, is a course difinition of ; You can`t give away that which you do not have. Both this texts are good, and primarily allow us to understand of telling other great things between the Dark and the light within our daily lives and such. this communicative transition of love per say should be adheared to in all the many levels that which we exist in ourselves and the many we live with throughout our lives. These are called relationships from the celestrial mindset I guess you may say, and always subjected to the physical when dealing with the outer on a daily basis.
My basis for all this, has to do with intuition that we can turn on and off, with each thing we do and Soul we connect with.at the level of that we have achieve with Chist. Its easy to be intuitive with the Souls you love, and the ones that are not so connected with us few tend to go past the immediate outer, although those are the ones that will create the most diferance in the kingdom, if you aready and choose to embelish that cause as a Dove with power (Holy Spirit).
Intuition is most easily found when seeing the point of the intial spectrum I mentioned above in others in a loving state of perspective.. The inner most inner - to the outmost outer. Ex; Most traditional Churches of today are focusing on the outer, with touching on the Outermost outer, and discusing under a veil of the inner. Without knowing the real truth of the Father within us, all is specultive and greatly moved from the counterfeit Spirit that trys to make the soul sin, or move away from the Light truth of the true Father. Expressed in Pistis Sophia. For in thy House there will be 3 against 2, and 2 against 3. Also in the KJV conical text.
Lu:12:52: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
These are the powers effecting each one us within our house, being us. Where the Mystery of baptism keeps them separate.

I have talk to many Islamic Souls, their God is completly outer, none inner what so ever. This mindset is a veil set in place many years ago. to breech that gap, just to the inner takes much to achieve, mostly never. But only with Christ in you as their servent to be shown to his soul as a Dove and friend. Thus Patience with intuition.

Thank you for allowing me to express a small portion of truth shown me, in this vast seeking of the father, and the diferant areas His truth falls within mans own spectrum of Mind and Spirit, an breeching those areas for oneness to shine.

Patience with power , truly is yours to have.
