Movies w/ Unexpected Wisdom

I read some posts similar to this topic, and I thought it'd be an interesting topic to have it's own thread. I found it interesting someone mentioned Shrek as a movie that taught them much.

The Truman Show - about a man discovering the world he's living in is a total set-up for people to watch.Awesome movie, recommended to anybody who's never seen it.

Many others I don't feel like mentioning right now.

Has anyone seen the movie "BEING THERE" with Peter Sellers (around 1980). About a very simplistic man being mistaken for a great sage/genius.

It is both funny and moving.

has any one seen the movie "into the wild " the chris mcandless story ? i just watched it this weekend and it FLOORED ME!!!!! the movie must be watched its on dvd and some pay per view. i dont watch tv really or go to movies so i just heard about it. i will say it has a few booby scenes ,but it was not perverted or a sex scene. this movie has really impacted me ,i will always carry it in my heart. IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE, i would love to discuss it . BUT I DO NOT WANT TO RUIN IT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT!!! it is truley worth watching , i cannot recall another movie i have loved like this except .........E.T........ ........... yes i love e.t i will always love e.t he ROCKS!!!!!!
