what is ment by this verse in the book of thomas that talks about ; for every woman that makes her self male will enter the kingdom???

As the Tree of Duality is a the Tree of Life in a imperfect form. In regards the life humanity, the Female is reflective of the male, and the male is active (generative) in regards the female. The simplest example of this is the reality is our sexual organs, females sex organs are within them, males are outwards. Males have the "seed" which is Light, females have the dwelling which brings forth Life in the seed. In this way males would be active/generative in the sense that they produce sperm and the female would be reflective in the sense that she takes the seed in her and raises it up within herself, she reflects the action of the male and produces the product; which is the Harmonic product -- the Child. This is the Great Pattern, Male/Active force, female/reflective force, and Child/neutralizing/harmonic force. This is the great triangle.
In regards our Higher Natures, we are all feminine. This is why much of the time in scriptures when referring to man they speak in the feminine. For instance,
"[...] It came to pass after much depravity, said the lord, you built yourself a brothel and you made yourself a beautiful place in the streets. And you built yourself brothels on every lane, and you wasted your beauty, and you spread your legs in every alley, and you multiplied your acts of prostitution. You prostituted yourself to the sons of Egypt, those who are your neighbors, men great of flesh [...] Now it is fitting that the soul regenerates herself and become again as she formerly was. The soul then moves of her own accord. And she received the divine nature from the father for her rejuvenation, so that she might be restored to the place where originally she had been. This is the resurrection that is from the dead. This is the ransom from captivity. This is the upward journey of ascent to heaven. This is the way of ascent to the father. Therefore the prophet said (Ps 103:1-5):
"Praise the lord, O my soul, and, all that is within me, (praise) his holy name. My soul, praise God, who forgave all your sins, who healed all your sicknesses, who ransomed your life from death, who crowned you with mercy, who satisfies your longing with good things. Your youth will be renewed like an eagle's ." - Exegesis on the Soul. That is from the Exegesis of the Soul, although this has another meaning beyond what people may think, the Soul itself is NOT female or male in nature, but it is female only in reflection to what it has immersed from. If you read the Gospel of Mary, Mary M says, "Do not weep and do not grieve nor be irresolute, for His grace will be entirely with you and will protect you. But rather, let us praise His greatness, for He has prepared us and made us into Men."
Now the greater point, on every level of our being, there is the pattern of male/female. We must make on every level of our being this male/female division of faculties through development into "one flesh" or a Harmonic Force, the Child, for no one can manifest the kingdom within themselves in division. In regards our Higher Nature, we must become an active reflective and not just reflective alone. One of the must important things to remember when approaching the Thomas Gospel is that you must understand the the dynamics of male/female, that pattern. In the Bible the direct quotations of these were taken out, however the pattern is imbued within every story. Adam/Eve and becoming one flesh, Cain/Abel/Seth, and so many others. These quotes for your consideration,
"Great is the mystery of marriage! For without it, the world would not exist" (Phillip Gospel).
106. Jesus said, "When you make the two into one, you will become children of Adam, and when you say, 'Mountain, move from here!' it will move." (Thomas Gospel)
"When Eve was still with Adam, death did not exist. When she was separated from him, death came into being. If he enters again and attains his former self, death will be no more." (Phillip Gospel)
"If the woman had not separated from the man, she should not die with the man. His separation became the beginning of death. Because of this, Christ came to repair the separation, which was from the beginning, and again unite the two, and to give life to those who died as a result of the separation, and unite them. But the woman is united to her husband in the bridal chamber. Indeed, those who have united in the bridal chamber will no longer be separated. Thus Eve separated from Adam because it was not in the bridal chamber that she united with him." (Phillip Gospel)
“A bridal chamber is not for the animals, nor is it for the slaves, nor for defiled women; but it is for free men and virgins.” (Phillip Gospel)
“The powers do not see those who are clothed in the perfect light, and consequently are not able to detain them. One will clothe himself in this light sacramentally in the union.” (Gospel of Phillip)
“If anyone becomes a son of the bridal chamber, he will receive the light. If anyone does not receive it while he is here, he will not be able to receive it in the other place.” (Gospel of Phillip)
“Indeed, one must utter a mystery. The Father of everything united with the virgin who came down, and a fire shone for him on that day. He appeared in the great bridal chamber. Therefore his body came into being on that very day. It left the bridal chamber as one who came into being from the bridegroom and the bride. So Jesus established everything in it through these. It is fitting for each of the disciples to enter into his rest.” (Gospel of Phillip)
22. Jesus saw some babies nursing. He said to his disciples, "These nursing babies are like those who enter the (Father's) kingdom."
They said to him, "Then shall we enter the (Father's) kingdom as babies?"
Jesus said to them, "When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter [the kingdom]." (Thomas Gospel)
The Lord said, "I came to make the things below like the things above, and the things outside like those inside. I came to unite them in that place." (Gospel of Phillip)
"And one of the disciples asked him, How shall a man enter into the Kingdom? And he answered and said, If you don't make below as the above, and the left as the right, and the behind as the before, entering into the center and passing into the spirit, you will not enter into the kingdom of God." (Gospel of Nazirenes)
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh" (Gen
2:23-24)
"Let us expect, therefore, hour by hour, the kingdom of God in love and righteousness, since we know not the day of the appearing of God. For the Lord Himself, being asked by one when His kingdom would come, replied, 'When two shall be one, that which is without as that which is within, and the male with the female, neither male nor female.'" (2nd Clement)

this is so awesome, first let me say i understand that this was not ment litterally. this really lines up and gels for me alot of what i hold to be true . please dont get me wrong and understand what i am saying ok? i see this in the canninized scripture as well, it is there it is chopped up and mutilated but is there. the gnostic scriptures bring such a wholness to it .
IT MAKES ME MAD THE MORE I READ THEM THAT THEY WERE KEPT AWAY FROM THE MASSES .that is why i still read them in conjunction wwith each other alot of what you quote is already in the bilbe ,and some is not, those that are not are so vital to understanding what is already there. it clears up alot of the inconsistancey that seems to make no sense.
i once said in a bible study that i think the holy spirit is the female aspect of god and whoa nelly,i bet they expected lightning to strike me down!!! hahahahah. i went on to say and give examples like; the time christ looked over jerusilim and cried and said he longs to hold them to his breast as a mother does. in gen when it is said let us make them in our image male and female. and why is it god the father god the son/child and god the holy ghost and not the mother , if we being created in his image MALE AND FEMALE HOW CAN THERE BE NO FEMALE ASPECT OF GOD?????? any way thank you for taking the time once again to unpack this for me .
i also feel that it is saying, to seek him ,to learn from him, sewing the seed to the kingdom is the responsibility of all those created in his image male and female

Nothing can exist without the pattern of male/female/child, it is impossible. All things, all phenomena is held together within the forces of active/reflective, positive/negative, male/female, even on a subatomic level. The Pattern, the Triune Pattern is in all things, this pattern is Divine. Everything is made or is constituted of this pattern, it permeates all things. So of course there is a Mother-God, if there wasn't an reflective force nothing could exist -- the Absolute is these in One. Nothing could achieve Enlightenment without it, one has to bring together the male/female on every level of their being to achieve wholeness and there is nothing that can negate this all inclusive reality.
People really don't understand when numerical patterns are in the bible or scriptures they have a very compassing reality. Just as 7 does.
If you look at the HEBREW version of Matthew, which is the Authentic Gospel written in hebrew characters, Yeshua/Jesus says, " Just now my mother, the holy spirit, took me by one of my hairs and carried me to Tabor, the great mountain."
While there is the Parent-God, holy spirit has a more compassing meaning, though. Holy Spirit is the virgin, it is the feminine power of Purity, we all must be born of a virgin if we would enter the Kingdom.

i am so excited to read the above!!!
this subject of numbers i have also brought up ,and i discussed gematria , and that every thing is numbers that it is about vibration ,and talked about how sound manifests. like when an opera singer hits the same vibrational pitch as a glass ,you can see the manifestation of it when the glass breaks.in the contrast of the male female, light dark,positive negative is where the learning takes place. i have always known God does work in patterns and is always consistant with himself in cycles and patterns from the great eternity of the cosmos right down to the tiniest of bugs. it is part of HIS faithfulness thank you . please keep sharing sopherim
