Both these videos claim that various ancient scriptures promote the use of hallucinogenic plants (especially 'magic' mushrooms) in order to gain Mystical experiences.

However, these claims come about through a misunderstanding of these scriptures - i.e. through a 'worldly' / materialistic / physical / exoteric interpretation, rather than a genuine SPIRITUAL interpretation.

The so-called "FOOD of the Gods" - Ambrosia / Nectar / Amrita / Soma / Haoma / Manna etc., is a very real substance - a SPIRITUAL and esoteric substance which flows from within - it is NOT to be found in the exterior world - just as the true LIGHT, VOICE, and NAME of the SUPREME are all WITHIN!

The late James Arthur's website has not been maintained and is gone now.
