I've been experimenting this morning with http://playlist.com
It was very simple.
In a matter of minutes I was able to create a playlist of songs that are on the internet.
Here's the one I made:

that is so very cool. we could probley stick that on our profile page or something like that right?

You can definately put a link (like the one I made for the popout playlist) in the website field in the forum's user-profile. However, you are already using that field for your myspace page. Bob could add additional custom fields to the profile for additional links. (that could be visible in every message a user posts *or* in the profile only)
As far as embedding the whole player inside the forum -- I'm still experimenting with that.
