Post by The_Passerby on Mon Jan 21, 2008 3:50 am

I introduced myself before on the first forum that was made, so I suppose I should do it again.

My name is Ra and I'm 25 years old. I have always been Gnostic at my core since I was around 7 years old, practically although I came across Gnosticism when I was around 21, I have always had Gnostic experiences and went into the presence of my indwelling Soul of Light on occasion, sometimes a subtle experience others far more intense. So it is no surprise that I found Gnosticism true in my experience. I never had a official religion growing up, I never read any scriptures or religious writing until I was 21, prior to that time I went by my own Inner Body Experiences (vastly different then OBE's since IBE's deals with ones inner cosmology of being, not astral realities) and the gnosis I gained. But now I can say that I am a walker in TheWay.

I dubbed myself "The Passerby" in my internet interactions on different forums and such back when I was 21 after I read the Thomas Gospel for the first time ever, of which was a comfort to me to see that what I knew was actually recorded of old. I could identify with saying 42. Jesus said, "Be passersby." This means (as I see it) to be in the world but not of it, to be apart from the lifestyle and mental constraint that keeps one earth-bound in mind, to draw within yourself to the Light of your Source and seek to manifest this Light within yourself as you live expanding beyond the natural limitations which are imposed upon the mind when in this world, within this spectrum of consciousness. To be a passerby is to become so self sustaining, so self sufficient that you become a universe unto yourself and not a poverty trapped within vices of a world of bondage, often self imposed bondage. And through such you become the Light of others to help them to perceive the nature of this world and what prevents us from internally ascending, the esoteric and foundamental mystery of the Archons/forces or Laws to overcome such barriers upon the mind and being and dwell within the Light.

Peace

Ra.

Welcome Ra, Very glad to see Here also. In an outlook of other board in the Pearl, it seems it is diminising in Light, and shadows are preventing ones from openly discussing things of themselves, pretty much walking away in posting, due to an esoteric attachment to so called Gnosis they think they are experiancing.
But besides That good Journey again to you Ra, and looking forward to expansive Gnosis enlightenment within the Now.

Light diminishing?

Post by Prism1111 on Tue Jan 22, 2008 6:50 am

Hello DC, I guess that would be a very expansive term associated with "My get and go just got up and went"
for something that happens to most everyone, every day whether it be talker or the listener, and everyone in between especially. The best way I could express the feeling is like when going over to someones house and walking right into a very huge argument.. lol it happens alot.. The ones walking in would not dare to comment other then just making themselves known then probably remember they have to go do their taxes,.... LOL. with understanding exactly the causes of situations like that. one may have much intuition to stear clear, or keep the light on in life, leaving or staying within the light is manefested in understanding , joy, happiness or love even. emergency departures are sometimes needed but the truth of them is still cold, leaving everyone to build back that light which they need to live in contentment.
Maybe just Lost its Pazaz is good too lol!

May your light never diminish DC, for it is the root of you expression and joy.

Thomas

Okay, I get that part.

But what does that have to do with the 'so called' gnosis experience , as you put it? I am just not understanding what you were refering to.. This forum, another forum, or what...

DC excuse me please for trying to put to many ideas into one sentence realy, You are not the first one at all who has brought this to light for me, being misunderstood is not my goal at all.
This is a situation from another forum board, It seems that there where many discussions being carried out in an overly critical way of each other that I could see and understand was happening. See for me and others, The highest light of truth is Jesus Christ. He is the Highest form of Light there is to understand due to being begotten of the Father explained in Pistis Sophia Scripture which is one of most Gnostic text from the Codexes discovered. In that Christ States and I agree "I am the Gnosis of the Universe" So with knowing that , this is the striving direction of the Highest enlightenment to continually achieve in Life, and everything in the other way eventually ends up in the Outerdarkness were there is no life at all. May I add this is not of the Mortal plane (outter darkness) but is the inheritance of those that choose fate for their Destiny in their seeking. In the Huge difinition Gnosis that men have attributed many ways to the same, wiccans are even said to study Gnosis. If anything is not of the christ, coming from the parents and the Father. Then by its own difinition of Divine knowledge, it is not but just another veil for men to be caught in, and talking endlessly on to no future of finding the Pearl that is our inheritance. DC I do suggest reading Pistis Sophia for a more in depth understanding by our lord himself teaching the Disciples. He has such a vast amount of answers for mens questions its astonishing realy. Like were we all come from exactly, how do depart, why some are born sick and blind etc. animals and their make up, God I could on and on as you can see. The love of the knowledge in the celestrial realm will utterly raise you into a new level of understanding of things. Gnosis is thourghly explained and will become like walking for you, as you learn of the next level.

Well I think I should end here and Hope that It answered what you were seeking in it DC. Thank you much in questioning this, it help me out as well.

May joy be in you
Brother Thomas

No excuse needed, Prism. Very Happy
However, I can see this becoming a bit of a debate, and I meant only to welcome Passerby on this particular thread, I will reply to this in 'apologetics.'
Look under 'the gnosis of others.'

Race ya there! Ready, set, GO!

Pass it all by. In being a passerby, every place is your home and paradoxically no place is your home. Every place is your home, since as you "pass through" you can dwell there temporally, however nothing can detain you of that place since you are not of it. But then again you have no home, as your home is not of any of these places, you have no place to lay your head and rest here, for true Sabbath is beyond this nature.

Another way to look at it is that we can always be at home ("within") wherever we are.

Yeah can be always sufficient within yourself, afterall the Kingdoms of Light, the Heavens are all indwelling right down to the core of your Being - all that you have within you is sufficient. But how many are walking Heavens on Earth? There have been few throughout history, it is difficult to achieve but it is there to be achieved. To enter the kingdom above this level, and go no more out (in many ways), but manifest it while you live and breath in the physical.

However when I look at things like passer by, I equate it to the saying by the scriptural Yeshua, 86. Jesus said, "[Foxes have] their dens and birds have their nests, but humanbeings have no place to lay down and rest." (Thomas Gospel)

The since there is no rest in this world, only a partial rest/Sabbath that can be found in receiving a specific level of achievement or indwelling Ascension (which would mean a level of work completed within in mind and being), what needs to be overcome is yet recipicated at many levels. To me the Final Sabbath is the ultimate Completion, and there are no more days after that, because every day is a External Sabbath in this Acquaintance with the Source. The lesser Sabbaths from the level above it which has yet to be reached is another day, yet to reach the final day at that level, although again just the beginning of the cycle at the one above it, if that makes sense.
