TRUE PEACE WITHIN
"Those who say ‘they will die first and then rise’ are in error. If they do not first receive the resurrection while they live, when they die they will receive nothing." (Gospel of Philip)

Re: TRUE PEACE WITHIN
I really enjoyed that. One piece of wisdom I gathered from that was this: He said why do rich people have peace-b/c they have.... then he said why do monks have peace-b/c they don't have.... I really liked that for I often feel I have to "not have" to have peace, whereas peace is unconditional.

I agree with him. Peace and lasting happiness are not dependent upon what you do or do not have. I'm reminded of a koan wherein a monk asks another: "If a man comes to you with nothing, what would you say to him?" The other monk replies: "Throw it away!"
