A Visualization
Here's a wonderful image to "conjure" up in yer minds. I got this from a C.S. Lewis book(from the Narnia series).

Imagine yerself w/ an old dried up, dirty layer of skin. Now imagine yerself shedding this like a snake. Imagine that someone or something is helping you(Jesus Christ, or God, or an angel,etc.) get this nasty skin off. It kinda hurts but feels almost good as well. You begin to feel the wind clearer. More.....sensitive, should I say. This new skin is kinda raw though, and dullish in appearance.

Now the being that helped you do this tells you to go in a river that is next to you. No ordinary river though, it's real shiny, glowing almost, as if it's phosphorescent or gives off it's own light. Maybe it's just reflecting light, though, who knows.you, maybe? Well, you go in, and man, does that feel good. Totally new kind of refreshment. It is soothing and very pleasurable. You bathe in this for what feels like eternity(and perhaps, it is)

The Helper tells you to get out, and you do, w/ the air brushing against you, the sun shining on you and a new sheen. Yep, now it seems as if yer phosphorescent, or maybe just more reflective.

Improvize this visualization as you wish to suit ya.

This is a really great story (visualisation). All the great religious scriptures, and much poetry and art and music also contain great stories and visualisations. BUT what is it we really need - not the mental images - but the REALITY of PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

Some people are content with the mental images, and collect art, or music, or books. But the true gnostic is one who wishes to go beyond the mental images to the REALITY of SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE - the experience which is truly beyond all comprehension.

How does one do this ~ that is the most important question, and one which must be answered.

The answer to this question that comes to me is to "Let Go and Let God"

Visual effects are very meaningful and intense, even when used subtly with the right projection, To those Giving and viewing most of the time. Their meaning is veiwed more completely than words I think, to where the soul has an immediate Picture and the Mind takes what it needs and leaves the rest. Kinda like it is easier to watch the movie than read the book.
Visualizations can also come in another way not commonly thought of like dreams which in essence has a veriety of meanings even to whom is dreaming.

For myself My dreams ussualy either are very entertaining with Colors and /or a combination concerning answering my own wishes in seeking something.

If I may; Two days ago I was trying to help a Sister in the word, as she was trying to fulfill a seeking to answer questions from some young people she knew. I quoted many things of Christ between giving my own thoughts concerning the ways to more easily project it in a Dove like fashion with Her being knowledgeable also of the Gnostics. So as not to confuse them with knowledge they might have already. Talking much to her, hoping I covered what was needed to fulfill what she wished for I bid her muxh blessing and turned in for the evening.

After awaking the next Morning I remember the very intense dream I had, which was: There was a Gentlemen standing to my Higher then of myself in a worldly sence. Not unlike in everyday happening as walking into a bank and seeing the owner looking your way smilling with authority of corse, or a Judge in a Cort room on this mortal plain we live in. He asked me in a friendly rugged tone, what are you, into? Myself thinking abit I must equal the playing firld of Spirituality I said, I am into deep deep deep Theology, creating a sence of Mentle superiority on a seemingly un equal one by My point of view only. After saying that, I saw the light of motivation drain from his face, from my words. I now knew he was just being friendly and adjustment was not needed, so I quickly said have you ever read any Gnostic scriptures?, to move forward. But he said yes and bowed his head, I know then the damage was done to some spirit by my over zelous speeking. I then tried to correct this and said, oh its realy light stuff. I corrected not, but rather became a Hypocrate with my own words to myself. Deep and light are opposites.
Upon waking and thinking of it the Spirit whidh to show me that , with the Grand truths you now Hold more importance should be put into protecting your Brothers eye as your own, for the Fathers words are powerful indeed and wisdom and care should be set in place within enlightment tou seek to attain.
