Vatican denies having Temple treasures
"Sources in the Vatican denied that the Pope is holding the holy Menorah... The sources said nothing about the request of the Israeli president to prepare a list of all the other holy vessels from the Temple. The reaction of these sources raised great disappointment and anger in Israel and among the Jewish people. Historians and researchers and everyone in Israel again stressed what has been very well known since 70 CE: the Temple Menorah and the other Temple
vessels are, indeed, held by the Vatican in its hidden basements and, as in the past, they do not want to return them to the Jewish People, to Jerusalem, to be used in the Third Temple. Israel has very clear evidence, making this an undeniable fact. It is very well known that the Vatican also holds ancient Torah Scrolls, Jewish manuscripts, and other holy vessels in its basements."

Intersting...what are the motives, though, for the Vatican to lie and keep the temple relics?
The follower of knowledge learns as much as he can every day;The follower of the Way forgets as much as he can every day.By attrition he reaches a state of inaction
Wherein he does nothing, but nothing remains undone.
To conquer the world, accomplish nothing;
If you must accomplish something,
The world remains beyond conquest.

As a museum piece I guess it holds much interest (and harbors many dark secrets) - for archaeologists, historians, religionists, and all materialists.
I actually spent a whole week in Rome many years ago - but I never even bothered to go to see the Vatican. Funny, though, I did visit the Colosseum and many other ancient landmarks.

I believe thats the other way around don't you think? Judaism has Christianity in its basement for with out Judaism there would be no other religion.

I think Heather was using the term "basement" as in 'foundation'.
Also, there were other religions existing before Judaism, e.g. Egyptian, Indian (Hindu), Persian, Greek, Chinese, etc. Judaism was not older, or in any way involved with their formation.

I would respectfully disagree with this........but I have gotten in trouble in the past for voicing my opinion on this so I will with hold comment.

Don't be affraid to voice your opinions.
But I think you will find (as far as it is possible for history to find) that these other ancient religions are at least as old as Judaism. So your statement that: "Without Judaism there would no other religion" definitely cannot be correct.
