Gnowmore.. I am realy wondering why someone would want to share a post such as this. In all truth it is difinatly not Humourous or appealing in any way.
Do you by chance have a need or fear within you that wishes to get attention through extraordinary means.

when one demeans others in such a way, they demean themselves Spritually more then they realize.

any other comment would be appreciated to this lack of respect for others and yourself.

I can actually see some truth in this portrayal of the oft displayed adverts ("before & after")! Doesn't the carnal world judge on outer displays and external beauty - things that are fleeting and shallow. I personally do not find Gnowmore's post offensive, but rather a caricature of the values of this material world.

But that's just my opinion, I guess we all see and interpret differently.

Bob... Maybe I was abit over explainitive in the post display, but did it for the reason of drawing out additional Coment from the Author in their full meaning behind it.
The Pictures themselves is a fact of life that we all understand happens in this mortal realm in an on going design of us all.,not a problem.

But being posted ;
1. in a Humourous context, without additional explination seems abit cold in....
2. A Gnostic forum were respect for Gods childrens inner enlightment is the reason for it, which could be proper as You also can imagine with an additional explanation as placing ones insight on the Spiritual not the mortal beauty within us, which is so emphasized in Society Today, especially to the our Children and younger generations.

If Gnowmore truly has posted this within a unifying understanding so others can appreciate the same or near the point of view it was expressed in, this is why I welcomed an addition comment from them to understand it so as it is not taken on an assumtion but in the way it was, and meant to convey. I also passed over it ounce like others Here, finding no deep meaning in it at all, only to go back and draw out a good seed if any to be nurtured. In truth it was a tricky decision.

In short My curiousity of the Human expression was greater than the post I was seeing, and I do appoligize to have had an over bearing tone within a simple question Truly.

Viewing beauty this way is the very reason our country is rampant with pedaphelia and the completely pointless pursuit of being 'forever young.' I got kinda poed the other day when a dangnab TOOTHPASTE commercial was promoting 'taking years off your life.' But they keep us slaves to consumerism that way. We get 'you aren't good enough, pretty enough, rich enough (whatever) - BUT if you buy OUR product you will be, just like the young, happy, flawless, wealthly people who are doing our commercial.' Alot of people don't get the last part, or understand that is the REASON we are manipulated this way, but they get that they aren't good enough and hence the national bleeding our our self esteem for 'profit', particularly for women...

THere was an interesting study done in a remote village in Tibet, I think it was, where they were getting TV for the first time. Their study found the women and men were fairly happy with themselves and thier life. Within 2 months of exposure to TV, the women all reported they felt inadequate in every way, in thier looks, in thier homes, ect, but the men were not so affected, the main affect on them was a weight gain. Interesting, no?

While I don't find it offensive (only cuz I have learned not to be offended by the de-evolvement of others) I don't find it funny, either.

Besides, age STILL beats the alternative!!!!
