The Secret Sayings of Christ
A Combined Account of the Apostles
by
Rev. Thomas Saunders U.L.C.

Introduction

After a long period of study by myself and others it has been discovered that the entire Gospel of Thomas can be imbedded into certain strings of verses from other Gospels and Epistles, using the Gospel of Matthew as the main guide.

This provides Thomas with a timeline it does not have by itself.

I am one of the people who love the Gospel of Thomas of and by itself. It is my desire to discover by combining these texts, rather than create from or of them.

The following is the combination of the Gospel of Thomas, into the Gospel of Matthew, with insertions from the Gospel of Mary, the Epistle of James, Peter, and the Gospels of Luke, Phillip, John, and Mark. Insertions occur in different ways. This has been done with care as not to distort from the intended obvious meanings, and central themes of the combinations of strings, all from Apostles...

“These are the words that Jesus said...”

Jesus, His Disciples, and John The Baptist

1.
(Thomas 4.) "A person old in days will not hesitate to ask a child of seven days about the Place of Life, and he will live ! For many who are first will become last, and they will become one and the same."

(Matthew 11:1. And in those days cometh John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, saying,
(Matthew 11:2. Repent ye; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
(Matthew 11:3. For this is he that was spoken of through Isaiah the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make ye ready the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
(Matthew 11:4. Now John himself had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his food was locusts and wild honey.
(Matthew 11:5. Then went out unto him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about the Jordan;
(Matthew 11:6. and they were baptized of him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.

(Thomas 46.) "Among those born of women, from Adam until John the Baptist, there is none greater than John the Baptist that his eyes should not be lowered before him. Yet I have said, that if one of You becomes like a child he will know the Kingdom and be higher than John."

2.
(Mathew 3:11. Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not arisen a greater than John the Baptist: yet he that is but little in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

(Thomas 85.) "Adam came into being from a great power and a great wealth, and he did not become worthy of You. For had he been worthy of You, he would not have experienced death."

(Phillip) The soul of Adam came into being by means of a breath (pneuma), which is a synonym for spirit (Pneuma). The spirit given him is his mother. His soul was replaced by a spirit. When he was united to the spirit, he spoke words incomprehensible to the powers. They envied him because he was seperated from the spiritual union. This seperation afforded them the opportunity to fashion for themselves the symbolic bridal chamber so that men would be defiled.

(Thomas 75) Jesus said : "Many stand outside at the door, but it is the solitaries who will enter the bridal chamber.

(Matthew 3:12. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and men of violence take it by force.
(Matthew 3:13. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

3.
(Matthew 3:7. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said unto them, Ye offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

(Thomas 40.w the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him;

(Matthew 3:17. and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

(Mark 10:35. And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.
(Mark 10:36. And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?
(Mark 10:37. They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.
(Mark 10:38. But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
(Mark 10:39. And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:
(Mark 10:40. But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

4.
(Matthew 14:1. At that season Herod the tetrarch heard the report concerning Jesus,
(Matthew 14:2. and said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore do these powers work in him.
(Matthew 14:3. For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife.
(Matthew 14:4. For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.
(Matthew 14:5. And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.
(Matthew 14:6. But when Herod's birthday came, the daughter of Herodias danced in the midst, and pleased Herod.
(Matthew 14:7. Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she should ask.
(Matthew 14:8. And she, being put forward by her mother, saith, Give me here on a platter the head of John the Baptist.
(Matthew 14:9. And the king was grieved; but for the sake of his oaths, and of them that sat at meat with him, he commanded it to be given;
(Matthew 14:10. and he sent and beheaded John in the prison.
(Matthew 14:11. And his head was brought on a platter, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.
(Matthew 14:12. And his disciples came, and took up the corpse, and buried him; and they went and told Jesus.

Jesus’ Speeches and Parables To The
Multitudes

5.
(Matthew 14:13. Now when Jesus heard it, he withdrew from thence in a boat, to a desert place apart: and when the multitudes heard thereof, they followed him on foot from the cities.
(Matthew 14:14. And he came forth, and saw a great multitude, and he had compassion on them, and healed their sick.

(Thomas 78) Jesus said : "Why did You go out into the desert? To see a reed shaken by the wind? To see a man clothed in fine garments? Your kings and Your great men are the ones clothed in fine garments, and they are not able to know the truth."

(Phillip) The powers do not see those who are clothed in the perfect light, and consequently are not able to detain them. One will clothe himself sacrementally in the union.

(Thomas 36) Jesus said : "Do not be concerned from morning until evening and from evening until morning about what You will put on."

(Matthew 13- 34. All these things spake Jesus in parables unto the multitudes; and without a parable spake he nothing unto them:
(Matthew 13- 35. that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.

(Matthew 14:15. And when evening was come, the disciples came to him, saying, The place is desert, and the time is already past; send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves food.
(Matthew 14:16. But Jesus said unto them, They have no need to go away; give ye them to eat.
(Matthew 14:17. And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
(Matthew 14:18. And he said, Bring them hither to me.
(Matthew 14:19. And he commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass; and he took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.
(Matthew 14:20. And they all ate, and were filled: and they took up that which remained over of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full.
(Matthew 14:21. And they that did eat were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

(Matthew 5:2. and he opened his mouth and taught them, saying,

(Peter 5:8.) Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour,

(Thomas 7.) Fortunate is the lion which the man eats so that the lion becomes a man; and cursed is the man whom the lion eats so that the man becomes a lion."

(Mathew 5:10.) Blessed are they that have been persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

(Thomas 79.) Fortunate are those who have heard the Word of the Father and kept it.

6.
(Luke12:12.) for the Holy Spirit shall teach you in that very hour what ye ought to say.

(Thomas 72) A man said to Him : "Tell my brothers to divide my father's possessions with me." He said to him: "Man, who has made Me a divider ?" He turned to His disciples and said to them : "I am not a divider, am I ?"

(Luke 12:14. But he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
(Luke 12:15. And he said unto them, Take heed, and keep yourselves from all covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in abundance of the things which he possesseth.

(Luke 12:35.) Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
(Luke 12:36.) And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

(Thomas103.) "Fortunate is the man who knows where the robbers are going to enter, so that he may get up, gather his {house}, and girds his loins before they enter."

(Luke 12:37.) Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

cross scriptureing

Post by Prism1111 on Sat Feb 02, 2008 2:03 pm

BrBenjimin, Wow truely good work in scripting Thomas to the Bible. This as You know in itself should be cause to trust scriptures outside of the Bible for those Locked in to traditions of Men (Churches). I have showed and may I add ones have listen to me when I quote Thomas along with relating Text of the NT, but it seems that is the extent of there duty to God as in the listening, they do not go furthur for there own benifit and say this is a clue to something I should be seeing and understanding. Its amazing how a weekend warrior can file things away inside themselves, without taking questions to an answerable finish. HUH?
So for Us is the 70x7 and the beat goes on.

I am also compiling a list of cross Scriptures that I found in the Pistis Sophia Scriptures, along with other Gnostic text that were Plagerized respectively at the councel of trent in 325 Ad under Constantine. They compiled the first version of religious doctrine, apon their choice, for all to follow. It was called Constantines new Testimony in short (New Testament) their were 55,000 Scriptures gathered from all ends of the known world with roughly 4000 religious People accompaning them and took 2 years there abouts to decide on one God, out of 50 gods. There were roughly two sides or differant areas of Studies. Gnostic which were a very small group, and everyone else. As we live today Gnostics were voted down allong with their scriptures. Constantine ordered all Gnostic scriptures burned and anyone adhering to them be Killed. It is known that the Books used in His testimony were put together in every way possible. even extracting paragrahs out of denied text (Gnostics) and rewiting them and including them in another. Here is one Proof;
M't:10:41: He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

Pistis Sophia Book 2b

"On this account I have said unto you aforetime: 'He who hath faith in a prophet, will receive a prophet's reward, and he who hath faith in a righteous [man] will receive a righteous [man's] reward,'--that is: Every one will go to the region up to which he hath received mysteries. He who receiveth a lesser mystery, will inherit the lesser mystery, and he who receiveth a higher mystery, will inherit the higher regions. And every one will abide in his region in the light of my kingdom, and every one will have power over the orders which are below him, but he will not have the power to go to the orders which are above him; but he will abide in the region of the Inheritance of the Light |234. of my kingdom, being in a great light immeasurable for the gods and all the invisibles, and he will be in great joy and great jubilation.

You can see they left off the whole part about Mysteries out of it, which was why Christ was telling them that. They didn`t want the gnostics around to be judging them on stealing there text.
The Gnostics were written long before the 325 AD which gives another proof those reading the bibles, what is true.
They are Hidding the Mysteries at all costs, even today.

Thank You for posting the Thomas reseach My friend, and glad to see another brother in the light Journey.

Many blessing to you

Brother Thomas

I presume you mean the Council of Nicaea (held under Constantine in 325). The Council of Trent was the 19th ecumenical council held in 1545.

ay yess Bob, I stand corrected , thats right indeed. I take it You have read of the many things our liittle man Constantine is noted for ayy? In short he was the paddle handler in one of the biggest witches brews going. Although Basicaly He was trying to get continuity in a vast empire that was half Occult and half in a mixure of beliefs with Jesus, due to the broad divisions in Beliefs was ripping it apart. That also was the change of the Sabbat worship, a compronise between the 2 sides, if the pagans where going to take some christian beliefs, they would go to Sunday for the occults (Sun God - baal). The Jewish people resisted for 400 years before it was blended and forgetton why by the rest of the world.

NEXUS: Forged Origins of the New Testament This is a very good article, concerning things as these.

Bob, I also enjoy this site emmensly and I am trying to stear true seekers this way also. The world now is so busy with all the stuff Jesus told us about not to care of, but see, Like you also probably can see people are turning to save the Body rather than Keep ones Spirit with father.
