I had some free time a while ago and I was thinking on the 'gnosis', so I created the following giving a comparison between the gnostic and non-gnostic.

Shattered Class and Reluctant Ambitions
As for the man whom sets out to meet the obligations of the religion, in that he attains himself to the gnosis the knowledge of things, knowledge of himself and the knowledge of truth.
Insofar as the one who sets out by his self finds nothing because he lacks the knowledge, and so is completely lacking in the things then men ought to have.
Inasmuch that the one with the knowledge and one without the knowledge both have the same ambition; to discover what is in themselves. The one who drinks from the stream looks for his own self, his pearl and the one who drinks from water not from the stream only come to the point of his own self, and he himself is the sole absolute.
Verily the one without the gnosis comes to the occasion when he admits that he is his own god and that humanity is made of gods. Any man who does a such has lied to himself and he is without the gnosis, so he thinks that he is greater then others because his exploration was done in vain.
Assuredly the one with the gnosis arrives at the crossroad; he indeed has that knowledge but he lacks the quality to decide on what road he will walk on. There are no signs for his eyes to gaze on and no one is around to instruct him. The seeker of the gnosis is aware that many falsehoods will be in his way, attempting to force him to conform to his twisted image.
Furthermore, the man who has no gnosis whatsoever is unconcerned with what pavement his foot stamps on. He is easy going and just takes things as they are. He is the man who is worldly and makes no enquiries after the truth and the gnosis; to him they are for children. He is like a giant, but turns out to be a dwarf.
Moreover, there is one who is not disadvantaged as the man is. The serious seeker does the opposite that the man does. The one of the gnosis struggles to find what he seeks. He is appalled by the behaviour, voice and image of the dwarf.
Both men make their efforts and both men see results. One mans results is another’s delusion and one mans result is childish to another.
The man without gnosis is not easily shattered into a thousand pieces. He is confident, strong headed and firm. He makes decisions, and yet views himself as the highest power. He is unbroken.
The man with the gnosis is easily chattered into ten thousand pieces. He humbles even himself at the sight of the scriptures. He looks for wisdom for help him make decisions and sees himself as a power only and not to the extreme that the other man does. He is broken."
This tale was composed by Andre Francis, on the 2nd day of the 5th Month in the year 2008 of the Christian Era.

People, I see in this that I have described myself whilst making a comparison bewteen myself and the non-gnostic who is not of a faith but a worldy man. I hope you have paid close attension to the sentences.
I gives an account of the seeker of the gnosis and the seeking of his own self, which he views himselfs as an absoute.
What do you think of the protrayal of the gnostic?

Andre, that is one of the most eqsuist, {sorry i cant spell the word } posts i have ever read , very well said and described

Yes, it is well written so that people can understand it and for some to provoke a challange to gain deeper knowledge of the Gnosis.
