The 14th Dalai Lama, et al.

"This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness" (His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama.) I also heard Guru Maharaji speak, in person, at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, about 20 some odd years ago. "If you took all of the bad in this universe, it would not even fill the head of a pin, compared to the good that fills the planet Earth." To me, one smile, can wipe out a thousand frowns. Thank you for this post, Tobias. I have borrowed a portion of it (quote from the Dalai Lama) to post on another, less 'enlightened' religion forum. Most will probably tear it apart but perhaps it will resonate with some!
