WHAT DID JESUS MEAN ? - IF HE SAID IT !
John 14:5-7 "Thomas said to Him (Yehoshua): 'Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?'
Jesus answered, 'I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well'."
I would like to hear whether you consider these words to be accurately reported, and if so, what they actually mean.

Hello, ABS. I am not sure as to what you mean by "accurately reported?" I view this statement as a mystical and physiological fact. In this regard, I believe it is accurately reported.
"I am the way (hodos - a way of conduct which is righteous, not a literal road to be traveled upon) and the truth (aletheia) and the life (zoe)."
We know him by doing the will of the Father. There is no way to the father except through the oil (christ).

Hi Chuk
By "accurately reported", I simply mean if the written words were exactly as Yehoshua said them.
Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't 'Messiah' / 'Christ' refer to an "Anointed One" (i.e. a human anointed with sacred/mystic oil) rather than merely to the oil only?
[GREEK G/K DEFINITIONS:
Christ, Anointed One, Messiah, the Greek translation of the Hebrew 5431 (cf. Greek {3549}). The Messiah is... an anointed leader expected to bring in an age of peace and liberty from all oppression. In the NT, the Messiah is Jesus, who came first to bring liberty from sin and peace with God and who will come again to bring all things under his control]
If this is the case, then there would be no way to the Father except through an "anointed one" (= Mystic Master).

Hi, ABS. Yes, Messiah/Christ does refer to an annointed one. The mystic oil is what I was referring to. With out this oil (the chrism) one cannot partake of the wedding of the lamb and will waste his/her oil through the 5 foolish virgins.

Salaam (Peace)
I believe he most likely said something very similar to the quoted verse - in the language he was speaking, not the Greek from which the English is translated. I believe it referrs to what is called "Sunnah" in the religion of Islam. Sunnah means a "method", "way", "manner in which something is done", or a "pattern". I believe Isa/Jesus (AS) was telling his followers to follow his Sunnah (way/method), just as Prophet Musa/Moses (AS), and all the Prophets told their followers to follow their Sunnah. The Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is comprised of his sayings and actions, as well as his life history.
I do not believe it was reported accurately, as I do not believe that Isa/Jesus (AS) ever referred to The Creator as "Father", nor do I believe that Isa/Jesus ever taught that his way was the only way ever, which the verse seems to imply.
