CARM and other so-called Christian Forums

I am a member of several so-called 'Christian' web-forums. Of course, not being a 'Christian' myself has got me into a lot of trouble. I have taken much vile abuse from these "loving" Christian brothers, but when I post a mild rebuttal (like the following on CARM) I am immediately banned. It is so true what Jesus was reported as saying ~ true lovers of God will be hated in this world by the people of this world!

"CARM" & "TALK JESUS" are definitely the worst (most evil) 'Christian' forums I have come across. How can they claim to be followers of Jesus? ? ?

That's the way the internet is. It's all divided into sects. If you don't fit their model 100% then you're viewed as a threat. Whether it's a religious/spiritual, political or scientific forum, this principle applies.

The good thing about exactly this forum is that it has a very open-minded policy/approach.

I've been kicked out of 4 forums so far. He he. If Jesus Christ would go on the internet today he'd probably be kicked out of a great many forums.

I was just joking about another poster who systematically posts unpleasant things after every single post that Bob makes. He is indeed spiteful and ridiculous, but my post was only an attempt at a little humor and could not possibly be construed as an "insult"

These people reek of hatred and intollerance. They are quite the opposite of what CHRIST taught. How can they call themselves "CHRISTians"?

I WAS going to go in this forum, as I can spout scripture (thier own, I don't even HAVE to use MY own texts) with the best of them, but I would be making funny and be banned within hours. Guess I better get WHOLE lot better at tact and 'loving rebukes' if I wanna hang as long as you guys.... I hve never even gotten a reprimand, tho I have been threatened to get kicked of a yahoo group or two..... (Wink wink at Bob)..... SO I have to quiet down my enlightenment of the masses....

Ben, i've received an infraction once before and another under false pretenses. I am surprised I have not been suspended because I post some outright "heretical" information in their eyes. LOL. I don't think I've been marked like you. How that is, I don't know. I really don't see you insulting anyone. All I do is post my stance and leave it there. I pretty much see you do the same. There is obviously an agenda. I don't spend as much time on that site because 99% of those on there are not to be engaged, imo. There are a couple here and there that will converse, but the 99%, altough made in God's image, are swine that I refuse to cast any pearls to. Don't let it bother you. The ignorant are just that for a reason.

You have never quoted ANY scripture supporting your attitude.

I suggest that you quote Jesus, instead of hurling obscene insults at your fellow men.

Go on, quote Jesus supporting hatred, killing, violence, lies and bearing false witness if you can. You can't, because Jesus taught love, truth and compassion.

Do you know what Jesus said? Are you concerned? He said ALL the following:

This "SUPERMEMBER" never quotes Jesus yet claims to be a Christian. He advocates hatred and violence yet claims to be a Christian. He constantly tells obscene lies and bears false witness and yet claims to be a Christian. He has slanderously smeared my reputation and lead others to believe his lies and yet claims to be a Christian.

To jog your memory, TOTALLY UNJUSTIFIED, he spawned filthy accusations and insinuations that I was a homosexual. He considers that the avatar that CARM supplies (the fish symbol) is a symbol of homosexuality! He accuses me of attacking all the military and police forces. He accuses me of twisting the scriptures. See above. I quoted, not twisted. But he quoted nothing whatsoever (in spite of my constant demands) in support of his outrageous attitude.

I BEGGED you to intervene. You did NOTHING! And then to add insult to injury, you suspend ME, the one who was wronged. I take it very badly and consider that any Christian should follow Christ and defend those being attacked for doing so, and that includes those in apparent "authority" ... especially -- CARM in this case who have a duty to enforce Christian justice and help those who are in need and beg for their help.

If I receive no reply to this email, my mind is made up. I know where I stand and I know where CARM administration stands.
