THE 'SECRET' GOSPEL
In 1958 professor Morton Smith of Columbia University (N.Y.) discovered, in an ancient Christian monastery near Jerusalem, a copy of a previously unknown letter written by Clement (Bishop of Alexandria, Egypt, who lived c.150-215) to someone named Theodore, and containing a fragment of a “Secret” Gospel of Mark. From the contents of the letter it seems that Clement had previously received a communication from Theodore complaining of a sect of pseudo-gnostics called Carpocratians (named after their leader: Carpocrates). Apparently, these Carpocratians had obtained a copy of this ‘Secret Gospel’ and were misinterpreting it according to their own false beliefs. In Clement’s reply to Theodore, he states:
“[As for] Mark, then, during Peter’s stay in Rome he wrote [an account of] the Lord’s doings, not, however, declaring all [of them], nor yet hinting of the secret [ones], but selecting those he thought most useful for increasing the faith of those who were being instructed. But when Peter died as a martyr, Mark came over to Alexandria, bringing both his own notes and those of Peter, from which he transferred to his former book the things suitable to whatever makes for progress towards Knowledge (gnosis). [Thus] he composed a more Spiritual Gospel for the use of those who were being perfected. Nevertheless, he yet did not divulge the things not to be uttered, nor did he write down the hierophantic teaching of the Lord, but to the stories already written he added yet others and, moreover, brought in certain sayings of which he knew the interpretation would, as a mystagogue, lead the hearers into the innermost sanctuary of that Truth hidden by seven [veils]. Thus, in sum, he prearranged matters, neither grudgingly nor incautiously, in my opinion, and, dying, he left his composition to the church in Alexandria, where it even yet is most carefully guarded, being read only to those who are being initiated into the great Mysteries.
But since the foul demons are always devising destruction for the race of men, Carpocrates, instructed by them and using deceitful arts, so enslaved a certain presbyter of the church in Alexandria that he got from him a copy of the Secret Gospel, which he both interpreted according to his blasphemous and carnal doctrine and, moreover, polluted, mixing with the spotless and holy words utterly shameless lies. From this mixture is drawn off the teaching of the Carpocratians.”
A little later in his letter, Clement actually quotes a short, but important passage from this Secret Gospel itself:
“And they came into Bethany, and a certain woman whose brother had died, was there. And, coming, she prostrated herself before Jesus and said to him: ‘Son of David, have mercy on me’. But the disciples rebuked her. And Jesus, being angered, went off with her into the garden where the tomb was, and straightway a great cry was heard from the tomb. And going near, Jesus rolled away the stone from the door of the tomb. And straightway, going in where the youth was, he stretched forth his hand and raised him, seizing his hand. But the youth, looking upon him, loved him and began to beseech him that he might be with him. And going out of the tomb they came into the house of the youth, for he was rich. And after six days Jesus told him what to do, and in the evening the youth came to him, wearing a linen cloth over [his] naked [body]. And he remained with him that night, for Jesus taught him the Mystery of the Kingdom of God.” (Secret Gospel of MARK).
Prof. Smith, talking of his discovery on a BBC-TV documentary, concluded: “A few years after Jesus’ death we hear of disciples baptising converts in His name, but about baptism administered by Jesus himself the Gospels say practically nothing. Why? There is a mystery here! Can it be that Jesus’ baptism was the Mystery? Perhaps the Mystery of the Kingdom of God! In that secret nocturnal initiation, Jesus may have given the initiates a hypnotic experience that would make them share His ascent to the Kingdom of Heaven… He was offering his disciples access to the Kingdom of Heaven, not in the far future, but right now!”
This seems to line up perfectly with the theory that Jesus had originally revealed a secret mystical Gnosis to close disciples. Of course we will never know for sure, will we?

Gnostics

The Gnostics were wannabees.
Care must be taken not to judge that what ye does not know, when one fully has esperiance and open mind to that which is in question, even then one can only accept it or not still without judgement if one is learning for truth and not for rebuking status of division.
Judgeing also for the sake of division of thoughts and beliefs brings to light the failure of the Christ consousness within one that sought so hard for unify but come short in the performance of works.

this brings to remberance the passover sader, christ only wore a loin cloth, and HE WASHED the diciples,Jesus cleary taught deep esoteric cosmic lessons to his followers ,that is represented an the transfigureation, when he only took two of his students with him, it is very biblical, mr cha, and not something a wanna be devised . he taught using what we call noetic science and phnomonolgy. He knew who would get what ,some moreso then others were cleary narrow minded and ignorant thats why he taught in parables to the masses, and took his peopple of understanding to the side and went deeper ,and went deeper still with others, this is clearley seen in the cannociol bible.
this also reminds me of the verse what i tell you in the dark, speak in the light and what you hear in the ear preach on the housetops matthew 10:27.

Re: THE 'SECRET' GOSPEL
He took some deeper for Fathers reasons, and those others he excluded because they were NOT to inherit eternal life, he i.e. Jesus didn't want to RISK having some one that wasn't supposed to have GOD the Father be pricked in the heart....sopherim7 wrote:this brings to remberance the passover sader, christ only wore a loin cloth, and HE WASHED the diciples,Jesus cleary taught deep esoteric cosmic lessons to his followers ,that is represented an the transfigureation, when he only took two of his students with him, it is very biblical, mr cha, and not something a wanna be devised . he taught using what we call noetic science and phnomonolgy. ALSO, you make no sense ,when you state Christ did not want to risk, others being pricked ,JOHN 3;16 for GOd so loved THE WHOLE WORLD HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SO THAT WHO BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE..17 FOR GOD DID NOT SEND HIS SON TO CONDEM THE WORLD BUT THAT THE WORLD THRU HIM MIGHT BE SAVED...19 THIS IS THE CONDEMNATION,THAT THE LIGHT HAS COME INTO THE WORLD AND MEN LOVED DARKNESS RATHER THEN THE LIGHT BECAUSE THERE DEEDS WERE EVIL. meaning the chose to reject and he knew it before hand just as he knows who the father has created to understand the deeper things of God, Christ is consistant today and has not changed his pattern of teaching . not only that ,NOTHING can change the will and plan of GOD not even jesus as he was still being taught by the father as well if you want the specific adress ask me ,here are a couple there are more.. no one knows not even the son nor the angels when the the end will come,he also asked that the cup pass before him, he also had to learn in the desert during the temptaion.we after Christs own example are to scatter seed those who have an ear to hear will produce the fruit of the kingdom. AND YOU CONTRADICT YOURSELF as you stated JESUS WAS NOT SECRETIVE to tell others something and and exclude oters because they might wake up and hear the truth is NOT CHRIST LIKE it is evil and technically spiritual murder and leads to death.

Cha I undrstand you are very proud of being a Christian and the Bible which You follow. I also follow and know much of the Bible from reseach I`ve done.
I am curious yo know where it says Jesus excluded anyone from knowing Gods word or inheriting the Kingdom excepted by thier own choice. Also something that discusses being pricked in the heart phrase you mentioned. I am a man of God but also a realist like many post I have read of yours on the NWO and things comming out now which I also agree on.
